Two IRGC service members martyred in clashes with terrorists

Two service members of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Force's Quds base lost their lives in clashes with terrorists in Saravan region, in Sistan-Balouchestan province in southeastern Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to a statement issued by the Quds base's public relations office, in the early hours of Saturday morning, two IRGC forces were martyred in clashes with terrorists in Keshtegan region of Saravan in southeastern Iran. Two others were also wounded in these clashes.

One of those martyred was an IRGC Ground Force commando from the city of Kermanshah, and the other was a local member of the Basij force.

The incident came days after the IRGC servicemen base disbanded a team of terrorists in West Azerbaijan province, near the border with Turkey; two IRGC servicemen lost their lives during that operation as well.

The IRGC is tasked with protecting the country’s northwestern and southeastern borders. 212/211
