Iran's Health Minister, Saeed Namaki has vowed to stabilise and strengthen the national pharmaceutical production inside the country.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on Tuesday on the sideline of an unveiling ceremony for four new Pharmaceutical drugs for treatment of cancer and diabetes, Iran's health minister, Saeed Namaki, confirmed that the new cancer-fighting drugs will be mass produced and will be available for treatment of cancer patients.

According to Iran Press, Namaki said: "What our scientists have produced and achieved is not just a laboratory achievement, it is more than that and will be produced on an industrial scale, the medicines will be mass produced."

The Health Minister emphasized: "Those medicines which are manufactured inside the country, if there are similar medicines produced abroad, we will certainly not import them into the country. We have stopped the import of such medicines." 

Saeed Namaki further added: "I hope to stabilize and facilitate the country's banking, economy and bureaucracy, in order to strengthen our national manufacturing and production." 101/211
