Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Department of Iran’s Hormozgan Province said that Shahid Rajaee port handles almost a half of Iran's trade.

Iran Press/Iran news: Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Department of Iran’s Hormozgan Province, Allah-Morad Afifipour said on Monday that the volume of non-oil exports from the port in March-April months stood at 2/5 million tons.

According to Afifipour, about 5 million tons of variety of goods have been moved in April from Iran's biggest trade port, Shahid Rajaee, Iran Press reported.

"During one month, 604,740 tons of petroleum products have been exported from special economic zone," Afifipour added.

Shahid Rajaee special economic zone is located on 23 Kilometers from Bandar Abbas in the north of Gheshm Island.

Having maritime relations and goods exchange with 80 important international ports, Shahid Rajaee port handles about a half of Iran's trade.
