Tehran (IP) - Iranian artworks that were presented at the 60th edition of the Venice Biennale, were showcased again at Tehran's Contemporary Art Museum on Saturday. 

Iran PressIran News: Iranian Culture Minister, Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili visited a special event at the Tehran Contemporary Art Museum.

This event showcased Iranian Artists' Artworks which was earlier presented on the 60th edition of the prestigious Venice Biennale in Italy, on 11 May 2024. 

The sufferings and pains of Gazan children are the main theme of the Iranian pavilion at the Venice expo.

The Iranian pavilion presents works by artists including Mostafa Goudarzi, Kazem Chalipa, Morteza Asadi, Abdolhamid Qadirian, and Gholam Ali Taheri, all revolving around the oppression of Gaza’s children.

Iran's Culture Minister Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili on the sideline of the event said: "Supporting the Palestinian nation and the Axis of Resistance and the legal rights of the Palestinians is our duty."

Esmaili called the artworks an effective tool to portray the atrocities of Israel all around the world.

This is an effective medium for informing the world about the genocide and crimes committed against innocent civilians of Palestine, Esmaili said.

He noted: "We urge the Muslim world to expand the scope of confronting the occupiers and express their anger against the Zionist Regime."
