The resolution proposed by the United States and the European Troika against Iran was adopted on Wednesday, June 8, despite strong opposition from China and Russia at the IAEA Board of Governors' quarterly meeting.

Iran PressEurope: The resolution was approved by 30 Governors voted in favour, 2 (Russia and China) against and 3 (India, Libya, Pakistan) abstained.

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative in the Vienna talks, said that the anti-Iranian resolution in the Board of Governors would not help improve cooperation between Tehran and the IAEA stressing that the move which was to complete the Vienna talks has been also useless.

Wang Chang, China's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations in Vienna, expressed concern about Western efforts to put pressure on Iran and oppose the resolution of the Board of Governors.

As the initiator of the current Iranian nuclear crisis, the United States must make political decisions as soon as possible and actively respond to Iran's legitimate concerns about reaching an agreement in the nuclear negotiations.

As resolution of the Board of Governors suggests, the Westerners expressed concern over the fabricated claims about the so-called discovery of nuclear material in three undeclared places in Iran and called for Iran's full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency urging Iran to act promptly to fulfill its legal obligations and, without delay, to accept the IAEA Director-General's proposal for further engagement to clarify and resolve any remaining safeguards issues.

The resolution also called on the Director-General of the Agency to continue reporting to the Board of Governors as long as issues regarding the safeguards remain.

The adoption of this resolution by the United States and its European partners at this time is a clear sign of the West's negative attitude, which is thought to be due to the current stalemate in the Vienna talks and the US insistence on not accepting Iran's rightful demands regarding lifting sanctions and removing the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps from the list of terrorist organizations, in such a way that they can force Tehran to accept their irrational and coercive demands through exercising political pressure, or force Iran to give up its legitimate demands.

However, Iran's reaction to these politically motivated actions, which was carried out with Rafael Grossi, 's efforts to pave the ground by presenting a biased report in accordance with the information provided by the Israeli regime, has been a decisive and warning response.

In the first instance, before the Board of Governors' voting, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, in response to what it called an 'IAEA's unlawful approach', removed two IAEA surveillance cameras. announcing: "So far, the International Atomic Energy Agency has not only not appreciated Iran's extensive cooperation, but has also considered it as a duty."

Since Wednesday, the relevant officials have been ordered to cut off the Online Enrichment Monitor (OLEM) cameras of the IAEA.

The organization added: "Of course, more than 80% of the existing IAEA cameras are safe ones and they continue functioning as they used to be."

Following the adoption of the anti-Iranian resolution by the IAEA Board of Governors, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement stressing that the resolution was based on a hasty and unbalanced report by the IAEA Director General as well as the false and fabricated information of the Israeli regime warning that the move would weaken any interaction with IAEA on Behalf of Iran.

Due to the non-constructive approach of the IAEA and the adoption of the aforementioned resolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran has taken reciprocally practical steps, including the installation of advanced centrifuges and the deactivation of cameras.

Thus, Tehran has shown that it is not only unwilling to accept the irrational demands of the West led by the United States, but also is against the politicization of the IAEA and the biased stances of its Secretary General, who is taking a stand against Iran alongside Tel Aviv but also will take decisive action, and the shutdown of the IAEA's two surveillance cameras at Iran's nuclear facilities is just the beginning.

At the same time, Tehran has emphasized that the so-called allegations of the West and the Isreli regime about the military orientation of Iran's peaceful nuclear program are merely an excuse to cover up the escalation of hostilities against Tehran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir- Abdullahian says: "The United States and the Westerners know that the atomic bomb has no place in Iran's Islamic belief and that Iran is not looking for a nuclear bomb, and with such useless excuses, they sought to achieve their goals.
