Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at a ceremony to commemorate the martyrs of Ramazan Headquarters in Sacred Defense, Major General Hossein Salami said on Wednesday that the headquarters was an example to realize the Islamic Republic's defense for the oppressed of the world.
General Salami commemorated the martyr General Soleimani and his endeavor to liberate the Muslim nations from the tyranny of the arrogant powers of the world and said that his martyrdom along with his comrade Abu Mahdi shows that Islam recognizes no boundaries to defend the oppressed.
He said that historical experience has proved that wherever the enemies see the dawn of Islam, they step in such that the Islamic world has always been the arena of the arrogant powers' war attacks on the lands for decades.
The Commander of IRGC referred to the True Promise punitive operation against the Israeli regime's aggression on the Iranian Consulate in Syrian and noted:
"Operation True Promise was a manifestation of the fact that we will act if the situation demands it. It is not true for us to sit and let others act. If necessary, we will support them [the oppressed] and draw swords ourselves."
"The dignity of Muslims is more important than anything else," the commander stressed.
