Tehran (IP) - British official in UK embassy to Iran said that despite the US recent action in not extending the oil waivers to the countries that have been purchasing the Iranian oil, UK is committed to JCPOA (The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action).

Iran Press/Iran news: The director of the department for international trade at the British embassy in Tehran, Keith Wellings expressed Britain's disappointment that the US has not extended the oil waivers to the countries that have been purchasing the Iranian oil.

Talking exclusively to Iran Press reporter on the sideline of the 24th international Oil and Gas show held on Tehran he added: "to express our disappointment, the UK government committed to  JCPOA ."

Pointing to Iran oil minister, Bijan Zanganeh's speech, Wellings stated that the speech was very well this afternoon, a very balanced speech and basically proved Iran's ability to respond to the situation and talked how "oil ideally should not be used as a political tool."

He continued the UK committed to supporting the trading relationship between Iran and the UK along with so many countries around the world, our European allies, Russia, India China and we hope for better days. 208/105
