Iran Press/ Middle East: Iraqi sources announced the holding of a sad ritual of changing the red flag of Aba Abdullah al-Hussein's dome. During the event, the red flag replaced by a black flag of mourning.
Today (Saturday), July 30, 2022, is the 1st of Muharram in the year 1444 AH. Imam Hussein (AS), the third Imam of the Shi'as of the world, who was martyred in Karbala on the 10th of Muharram in the year 61 AH, with his unique sacrifice, taught lessons of freedom and dignity to all the world.
According to Iran Press news agencyو hundreds of thousands of mourners from different Islamic countries visited Karbala last night (Saturday) and on the first night of the month of Muharram to participate in the sad ceremony of replacing the red flag of the dome of Aba Abdullah al-Hussein (AS) by the black flag of mourning.
In this ceremony, the mourners renewed their allegiance to Lord of the martyrs (AS) and his honorable brother Hazrat Aba Al-Fazl Al-Abbas (AS) by chanting the slogan of Labik Ya Hussein.
In the incident of Karbala, Imam Hussein (AS) clearly emphasized: "My intention is to disgrace the anti-Islamic government and establish the command of what is good and forbid what is bad and stand against oppression and tyranny."
The lessons of Imam Hussein's (AS) movement have history and geography as wide as all creation, humanity, and the world, and it can never be limited.
