Tehran (IP) - The bill on the transfer of convicts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belgium was referred to the Expediency Council for further review and opinion.

Iran PressIran News: According to Iran Press parliament correspondent, the representatives discussed the objections of the Guardian Council on  the bill to the transfer of convicts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belgium on Wednesday.

Considering the parliament's emphasis on approval of the bill on the transfer of convicts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belgium, this bill was referred to the Expediency Council with 140 votes in favor, 17 votes against and 7 abstentions out of a total of 209 votes.

The bill on the transfer of convicts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belgium consists of an introduction and twenty-two articles.
