In his speech at the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations, the US president pointed to the diplomacy strategy towards Iran and said that the United States is ready to full compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) if Tehran does the same.

Iran Press/Joe Biden stressed willingness to resume 2015 deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA)  if Tehran complies saying we're long way’ from two-state solution but won’t give up and vows US opening ‘new era of relentless diplomacy’.

U.S President also referred to the acronym for the official title of the 2015 nuclear accord signed by the US, Iran, and several European nations and reassured: "We are working with the P5+1 to engage Iran diplomatically and seek a return to the JCPOA.

However, the United States illegally and unilaterally withdrew from the JCPOA during the presidency of Donald Trump and imposed the most severe sanctions on Iran.

Moreover, Iran has repeatedly announced that the US should take lessons from the failed sanction policy towards the Iranian nation and must take the first step of lifting all illegal sanctions.

In that case, Iran would fully adhere to the nuclear deal, as it did before Trump's illegal action, according to numerous reports by the Atomic Energy Organization, confirming Iran's full compliance with the agreement.

More than 100 world leaders and heads of government are converging on the New York headquarters of the United Nations this week for days of events and speeches to mark the beginning of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

Following last year’s 75th anniversary celebration, this year’s General Assembly of the United Nations will indicate how seriously countries are taking their pledges to reinvigorate the UN and a broader commitment to multilateralism.
