Iran Press/America: Former Vice President Joe Biden announced during a campaign event on Tuesday that he will pick a vice presidential running mate by the first week in August.
“I’m going to have a choice in the first week in August,” he said Tuesday, “and I promise I’ll let you know when I do.”
According to Washington Post, Biden said he was not sure whether he will be able to meet face-to-face with the women vying to be his running mate. “We’ll see,” he said, speaking to reporters in Wilmington, Delaware after giving an address on his new racial-justice plan.
He added that he and any interviewees will have to wear masks if they do sit down in person.
The 2020 United States elections will be held on 3 November 2020 and voters will either decide to re-elect the current president Donald Trump and his vice-president Mike Pence or Joe Biden the presumptive Democratic nominee.
