Iran Press/ Iran News: Mohammad-Ali Zolfigol commented on the specialized meeting about the role of women in multilateralism, held on Jan 24, 2023.
He said: "After the Islamic Revolution, women made a remarkable appearance in various fields."
Zolfigol said: "We are witnessing that the political status quo of the world is undergoing a serious change, and the uniaxial atmosphere of autocracy and unilateralism is giving way to multilateralism."
The minister stressed that unilateralism has no place in the Islamic Republic of Iran and that it is seeking multilateralism.
He added: "Today we are witnessing the progress of women in the Islamic Republic."
Attending the conference, the Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs explained the aims of the First International Congress for Women of Influence held in Tehran and said that the purpose of holding the congress was to appreciate and support the growth and promotion of women's creativity and ideas.
Ensieh Khazali said: "Also, identifying women in various fields, including science, research, innovation, economy, health and treatment, art, acting, photography, painting, social and economic activities, civil activities, environmental activities, lawyers, media was among the other aims of the congress."
