Muscat(IP)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister arrived in the Omani capital of Muscat on Thursday.

Iran PressMiddle East: Ali Bagheri Kani", the political deputy of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arrived in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on  Thursday morning to meet and talk with Omani officials.

In the past few days, "Hossein Amir-Abdollahian," the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, had a telephone conversation with" Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, "the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman.

The relations between Iran and Oman in the last few decades, despite the tensions in the Persian Gulf and America's efforts to intensify Iranophobia, have always been relations based on mutual respect and interests.

Omani officials believe that close relations with Iran are based on realism and consider Iran a great neighbor.

The two countries do not have any territorial and border disputes with each other, and Iran's support for Oman has been positively and permanently imprinted in the historical memory of the people of the country.
