Iran, forerunner of supporting Palestinians

Palestine (IP)- A member of the Political Bureau of Palestine’s Islamic Jihad Movement said that International Quds Day is a reminder of the Muslims and Arab states’ duty vis-à-vis Palestine and al-Aqsa Mosque.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad al- Hamid said currently the Muslim countries’ stance towards Palestine is bifurcated; one group backs Palestine, which is manifested in Axis of Resistance, led by Iran, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and resistance groups in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq.

The second group, al- Hamid said, are those Arab regimes that chasing and yearning to normalize ties with the Israeli regime.

“Unfortunately, at a time when Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, has announced the cancellation of security accord with the Zionist regime, and Palestine is Israeli brutal attacks' target, the UAE's first ties-normalization was the aircraft landed at the airport of the Israeli enemy under the pretext of providing medical aid to Palestine,” the Palestinian official noted.

Mohammad al-Hamid stated that the International Quds Day was an initiative of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution 40 years ago to remind the world's free people duty to Palestine.
