Iran Press/ Iran News: The ceremony was held on Dec. 31, 2022, at IRIB International Conference Hall in the presence of the IRIB Head Payman Jebelli attended the event.
During the event, an orchestra group, musicians, and aptly named poets performed their latest works to honor Martyr Soleimani.
The Secretary of the Popular Headquarters for Commemoration of the 3rd Martyrdom Anniversary of General Soleimani also delivered a speech at the ceremony.
Hamid Reza Moqaddamfar said that today the world's nations are eager to know more about the characteristics of Qassem Soleimani.
Moqaddamfar noted: "With art, poem and films we can introduce Qassem Soleimani's character."
He said that Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani was the symbol of national unity, and over 700 books were written and published about his life and character.
He stressed: "Qassem Soleimani was not just a man of battle but a man of perfect life and diplomacy; Martyr Soleimani sacrificed his life for the prosperity of Iran and Iranians."
Lieutenant-General Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units' (PMU) Second-in-Command Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated along with their companions in a US drone strike authorized by the former US President Donald Trump near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
Lieutenant-General Soleimani and his companions were highly popular because of their key role in eliminating the US-backed Daesh terrorist group in the region, particularly in Iraq and Syria.
Lieutenant-General Soleimani was assassinated by the US while he was in Baghdad at the official invitation of the Iraqi government.
