Iran PressMiddle East:  According to the Iran Press news agency, Wadi al-Salam cemetery is a large and historical cemetery in Najaf city, which has religious importance for Shiites due to the existence of hadiths about its virtue.

According to some traditions, this cemetery is the place of pilgrimage of some prophets and righteous people. In Wadi al-Salam cemetery, in addition to the graves of Iraqis, there are also graves of various people from Iran, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, and other countries.

In Wadi al-Salam cemetery, many religious and non-religious personalities are buried: Hazrat Yahya, Loot, Hud, and Saleh are buried in this cemetery, also the graves of personalities such as Rais Ali Delwari, Seyyed Mohammad Bagher Sadr, and Abu Mahdi Abu Muhandes are also located in Wadi al- Salam.
