Iran's Foreign Minister said that ending the aggression of the Israeli regime against Lebanon and Gaza requires a global coalition to punish the leaders of this regime and its supporters, especially the United States.

Iran Press/Iran news: At the emergency meeting of the United Nations Charter friend foreign ministers held in Lisbon, Portugal, on Monday, Abbas Araghchi described the last 14 months of the genocide in Gaza as a continuation of the 80-year-old colonial annihilation plan in Palestine, which is ongoing in the form of increasing occupation of the Palestinian land and apartheid against the people.

Launching an all-out war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli regime has so far killed 44,056 people, injured 104,268, and displaced thousands of others, in addition to the destruction of their houses and the creation of famine for the war-hit people.

He emphasized that the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Netanyahu and Gallant is a necessity, however late, in the path of fulfilling justice and the punishment of Israeli regime criminals, therefore, the seriousness of the international community in the implementation of these sentences is necessary.

The ICC issued the arrest warrants for Zionist Regime PM Netanyahu and Ex-War Minister Gallant over "war crimes of starvation, crimes against humanity, crimes of directing attacks against civilians, and other inhumane acts".

Iran's Foreign Minister stated that the Israeli regime and its allies are abusing the concept of anti-Semitism to silence any criticism of the war crimes and genocide the regime is committing in Gaza and Lebanon.

Araghchi stressed the common responsibility of the international bodies to stop the killing of innocents in Palestine and Lebanon and said that effective collective action is essential to end the crime and punish the leaders of the Israeli regime.

Abbas Araghchi, Iranian Foreign Minister arrived at Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, to take part in the 10th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) on Monday.
