Iran Press/ Middle East: The Arab League rejected Palestine's draft proposal condemning UAE's normalization of ties with the Israeli regime at the meeting of the member states' foreign ministers on Wednesday.
According to Al-Masirah TV, issuing a statement, the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the Arab League for their failure to not condemning the UAE's normalization of ties with the Israeli regime and said that this stance of the Arab League indicates the far distance of the union with the principles of the Muslim Ummah.
Yemen's Foreign Ministry also called for the efforts and pressure of other countries to truly reform the policies and positions of the Arab League.
Meanwhile, the Spokesman for the Yemeni Ansarullah Movement, Mohammad Abud al-Salam considered the failure of the Arab League in condemning the Emirati government's compromise with the Israeli regime as the death of the union, saying that such a union should be buried.
Israel and the UAE announced an agreement on August 13 to normalize diplomatic relations. The agreement has been widely criticized by the Muslim world.
