The leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement in Yemen has stated that the Israeli regime will face "destruction" as a result of its genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Abdul-Malik al-Houthi made the remarks in a televised speech broadcast from the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, on Sunday to mark the first anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.

"The enemies are trying to rebuild international alliances and strengthen the relations of the Israeli regime with the great powers of the world to give the enemy international strategic influence. However, with the Israeli regime committing such a significant amount of killings, there is no doubt that the regime will be destroyed," stated Houthi.

He stated that Operation Al-Aqsa Storm had thwarted the plans of the occupying regime. He emphasized that the increasing strength of the resistance movements in the region has caused the Israelis to worry about the regime’s complete destruction.

Pointing out that Operation Al-Aqsa storm had a lot of effects and was a hard blow to Israel, Houthi said that this attack made the nations take a stand against the enemy and confront it.

Al-Houthis added: “No matter how much the Zionist regime continues its genocide and assassinations, it will not achieve the desired result. With genocide, this regime cannot save itself from its inevitable fate, which is destruction."

Houthi further noted that Israel is using internationally prohibited weapons provided by the US against people in Gaza. He emphasized that Washington is complicit in Israeli crimes in the blockaded territory.

The US has supported the Israeli regime in its genocidal war on Gaza, he said, adding that it has sent tens of thousands of military equipment to Israel to facilitate the mass killing of Palestinians there.
