Tehran(IP)- Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir- Abdullahian will travel to Jordan tomorrow (Monday) to participate in the second round of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership.

Iran PressIran News: After holding the meeting in Baghdad last August, Amman, the capital of Jordan, is going to host a regional meeting regarding Iraq on the 20th of this month (December).

Iran, Türkiye, and a number of Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, are supposed to participate in the Amman meeting.

The purpose of the Baghdad conference is to continue the dialogue between the relevant countries, establish cooperation and stability in the region, establish economic partnerships and protect Iraq against foreign threats.

In the first round of the Baghdad meeting for cooperation and partnership, the participants emphasized supporting Iraq in many fields, including fighting terrorism and helping to rebuild Iraq.
