Iran Press/ Iran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, referring to the Israeli regime's non-compliance with the UN Security Council's resolution regarding the cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, stated: "As the resistance (Movement) has stated, if the war against civilians continues in the Gaza strip, the possibility of opening new fronts is conceivable, as at the present time, in addition to the Lebanese front, the Yemeni, Syrian and Iraqi fronts are taking measures to support the oppressed and powerful people of Gaza."
Iran's foreign minister added: "Regardless of the fact that political and international actions are focused on stopping war crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip, as well as the continuous sending of humanitarian aid and preventing the forced displacement of residents of Gaza and the West Bank, In the battle field, there is also the phase of expanding the scope of the war from these areas, by the resistance and groups that make their own decisions and act in support of Palestine."
The head of Iran's diplomatic service also said about the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the developments in Gaza: "Parliaments play an important role in this situation, in this regard, in the meeting with the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Parliament of Iran, good ideas were raised by the members of the commission and the lawmakers. Their demands were to stop the sending goods and fuel by some countries to the Israeli regime and to embargo the manufactured goods of this regime, and based on this, it was decided that this very goal should be vigorously pursued through parliamentary diplomacy."
