Two Iranian oil tankers that delivered fuel to Venezuela as part of a five-vessel flotilla have begun to sail back.

Iran PressAmerica: The two first Iranian tankers that discharged fuel last week departed over the weekend from state-run PDVSA’s ports.

The Fortune on Sunday set sail to its origin port, Iran’s Bandar Abbas, with an estimated arrival in July, while the Forest on Saturday departed from the Cardon refinery before switching off its satellite signal, Reuters reported.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has sent five fuel tankers to support the Venezuelan government and people, which are under US economic siege.

The shipments have caused a diplomatic standoff between Iran, Venezuela, and the United States as both nations are under US sanctions.
