Iran Press/America: Hojjatullah Soltani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Caracas, announced on Sunday the arrival of the first tanker carrying Iranian fuel to Venezuela on his Twitter account, releasing the photo of the meeting between the late Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez with the Leader of the Islamic revolution and noted, " Two leaders, two countries and the two revolutionaries whose hearts are with each other."
"Today, more than ever, the bond of friendship and brotherhood between Iran and Venezuela has become stronger and deeper," he added. “Iran's first fuel tanker arrives in Venezuela thanks to the Venezuelan Ministry of Defense for escorting the tankers.”
"Love was answered with love," Soltani wrote in another tweet. "In 2008, Venezuela, under the leadership of Commander Chavez, transferred gasoline to Iran, which was under sanctions, and today the Iranian people, led by Imam Khamenei, sent tankers carrying gasoline to the land of heroes and Venezuela.”
In recent days, Iran has sent five tankers to Venezuela due to the problem of gasoline supply, one of which reached Venezuela today. Local media quoted official sources as saying that the Iranian oil tanker Fortune had entered the Venezuelan Special Economic Zone today.
