Iran Press/ Iran News: During his weekly press conference on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said: "It is the American Human Rights Week, a reminder of the repeated human rights violations of the US administrations against the people of Iran and the Middle East region."
He added: "This week is a week to remind ourselves and all libertarians that human rights shoul not be taken as a tool in the political arena."
Referring to the chemical attack on the city of Sardasht by Western-backed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and the martyrdom of those in that area, Khatibzadeh said: "July 28 and 29 are reminiscent of a painful day in the contemporary history of Iran."
He also referred to the visit of Iran's Special Envoy for Afghanistan Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian Fard to Kabul and Islamabad, adding: "In recent days, meetings have continued to review the JCPOA talks."
Asked about the Vienna talks and the technical understanding with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), he said: "The law of the Parliament on the obligations and duties of the government is quite clear, and it is within the framework of the Parliament law. No new decision has been made regarding the technical agreement with the IAEA."
He also added: "No decision has been made on whether to delete the agency's camera information or not."
"Negotiations have reached a point where all parties have to make their own decisions," he said, adding: "We have made the decisions and we are waiting for the opposing parties, including the United States, to make their own decisions."
