(IP) - The Athens International Film and Art Festival granted the Best Film Award to an Iranian movie, Paper Dream.

Iran PressEurope: The film "Paper Dream," directed by Ali Atshani, was awarded during its 68th international screening.

The movie tells the tale of a young boy with albinism who has been isolated from society due to his condition. A young girl manipulates his kind nature and turns him into a social media influencer. However, the boy develops feelings for the girl along the way.

The cast of the film includes Amir Hossein Mousavi, Kamarn Tafti, Bita Atshani, Mina Vahid, Negar Mallaki, Zeinab Malaki, Amir Hossein Rezazadeh, Majid Mahidoost, and Ayeh Ghobadian.

The Athens Film Festival organizers are confident they've established a fresh platform for filmmakers, distributors, producers, and media to exchange ideas and enhance their craft. Their goal is to foster international connections and elevate the art of filmmaking in Greece.

The Paper Dream has received numerous awards at several international festivals.
