Iran Press/ Iran News: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in a video conference on Monday the medical staff had been working day and night for 13 months, and our nation was grateful to them.
He added: "600,000 health defenders are serving people. Despite the fact that the UK variant of coronavirus has infected people, due to the effort and sacrifice of medical staff, the number of deaths is still double-digit."
Rouhani added: "I thank the emergency services in Tehran and all over the country, who have worked in different cities during the past year, and I hope the year 1400 would be the end of the coronavirus."
