Iran Press/ Iran News: Zeynab Soleimani, Lt.Gen. Qasem Soleimani's daughter, and Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance have attended the event.
Twenty-two films, made mainly by the new generation of Iranian filmmakers, are competing in the festival.
The jury of Simorgh Soda of the 40th Fajr Film Festival, after reviewing 22 films, announced their nominees in the last evening.
"Masoud Jafari-Jozani", "Majid Entezami", "Shahab Hosseini", "Mohammad Ali Basheh Ahangar", "Mohammad Davoodi", "Mehdi Sajjadeh" and "Pejman Lashkaripour" are the judges of the Simorgh Soda section of this Fajr Film Festival.
