IME weekly report:

Tehran (IP) - Within the week ending on October 28, 2022, the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) witnessed a trade of 2,911,066 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than 583 million USD on its physical market.

Iran PressIran News: According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and Public Relations (PR), the exchange saw its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,502,000 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 371 million USD.

On this floor, the IME sold 1,234,929 tonnes of cement, 915,000 tonnes of iron ore, 259,662 tonnes of steel, 72,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 5,870 tonnes of zinc, 40,950 tonnes of aluminum, 7,580 tonnes of copper, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 30 tonnes of precious metals concentrate, 94 kg of gold bars and 279 vehicles. Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 372,559 tonnes of commodities worth more than 194 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 86,278 tonnes of polymeric products, 98,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 26,000 tonnes of lube cut, 34,943 tonnes of chemicals, 8,325 tonnes of sulfur, 4,154 tonnes of base oil, 500 tonnes of insulation and 112,749 tonnes of bitumen.The IME also traded within the same week 35,935 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
