Tehran (IP) - Iran's interior minister said on Thursday that by the end of the 12th government, 180 urban projects worth 25 trillion Tomans will be put into operation.

Iran Press/Iran News: At the inauguration of the national projects of the Ministry of Interior, which was held in the presence of the president today (Thursday), Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli stated that one of the most important things that were done was the formation of the Metropolitan Commission.

The Metropolitan Commission directly provides the government with decision-making and submission of bills and arrangement of legislation, he noted.

Today, 99 significant projects worth 7,950 billion Tomans will be put into operation, and also, another 180 projects with 25,000 billion Tomans will be put into operation by the end of this government, Rahmani-Fazli highlighted.

Waste management was one of the unresolved issues of the municipalities and the problem of the general public, especially for the people of the northern provinces. In this regard, a law was passed and sent to the parliament, and the task was determined, he concluded.
