Iran Press/ Iran news: The ministry said on Tuesday that 1,241 victims of COVID-19 in the country are in severe condition and are being treated in intensive care units
The death toll from the pandemic in Iran has risen to 132,274, as 23 more Iranians have succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, it said.
Over the last 24 hours, 9,378 new cases of COVID-19 infection were reported, with 632 of them hospitalized, it added.
The Health Ministry also said more than 6,085,073 individuals have recovered or been discharged from hospitals out of a total of 6,267,559 sick people.
It went on to say that over 60,544,155 million Iranians have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, over 53,733,768 million have received the second dosage, and more than 15,254,504 million have gotten the booster shots, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 129,532,427 doses.
