Iran Press/ Iran news: The crescent moon, which marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq's Kurdistan region, authorities have announced.
Therefore, today, April 1, will be the last day of the month of Shaaban, and the holy month will begin on Saturday, April 2.
In the message, Ebrahim Raisi expressed hope that with the blessing of this month, with the help of the leaders and thinkers of Islamic countries, practical steps will be taken to strengthen the unity of the Islamic Ummah, especially against divisive currents, including Takfiri terrorism.
Iranian President also expressed hope that the world would see the elimination of oppression and injustice and establish peace and security, especially in Palestine.
