New York (IP) - In his meeting with the UN Chief, Iran's President called preventing the dangerous procedures of the excesses of hegemony and warmongering as necessary UN measures and missions.

Iran PressAmerica: In a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Iran's president called gender justice and addressing women's rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran rare in the world and cited the significant presence of Iranian women and girls in various scientific, sports, social and cultural fields as examples of this.

Furthermore, Ebrahim Raisi considered preventing the excesses of hegemony among the people's expectations from the United Nations.

By stating that war-mongering is the nature of Superpowers and the domineering system, he called the measures of this organization necessary to prevent these dangerous procedures that disrupt global peace and stability.

He emphasized Iran's readiness to participate in the expansion of peace and security in the world and the prevention of the oppression to nations.

Ebrahim Raeesi met with Mr. Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, as part of his trip to New York.

In this meeting, while appreciating the efforts of the Secretary-General and the UN Secretariat, the President noted the attention of nations in the administration of justice, elimination of discrimination and poverty, as well as stable security among the main missions and duties of the United Nations.

Referring to the concern of the countries regarding the political and social future of Afghanistan, Yemen, and Syria, as well as secession in Africa under the shadow of excesses and power-seeking attitude of the domineering system, the President reminded the important role of the United Nations in preventing oppression of the people of these countries.

The President also asked the Secretary General of the United Nations to follow up and receive the news related to Iran directly and from the correct channel because the media, under the influence of the domineering system, do not reflect a true image of Iran.

In this meeting, Antonio Guterres also expressed his interest in the development of cooperation between the United Nations and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He welcomed the positive developments in the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia as two countries that influence the stability of the region.

While appreciating Iran's constructive role in the developments in Yemen, the UN Secretary-General also emphasized the support of this international organization to Iran's initiatives to end the crisis in Yemen.
