Aleppo (IP) - After the earthquake in northern Syria, relief workers are still working around the clock to remove the dead from the rubble.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran started helping Syria immediately after the earthquake, and the Iranian Red Crescent Society is helping Syrians and residents of Aleppo with heavy equipment and debris removal.

Iranian Red Crescent Society has also sent 9 shipments of humanitarian aid to the residents of Aleppo.

So far, about six thousand people have died in northern Syria due to the devastating earthquake in southern Turkey.

The death toll from Turkyie and Syria earthquakes has risen to over 50,000 people, according to the latest figures from both countries.
