Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov spoke today (Saturday) in a telephone conversation about bilateral relations.
Amir-Abdollahian reminded of the brotherhood, and close relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan said: Now the two countries can move towards further expansion of bilateral cooperation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, stating that others should not be allowed to use misunderstandings between the two countries, said: Any misunderstanding must be resolved in an environment of friendship and brotherhood, and Baku is ready to expand relations with Tehran.
The two sides also discussed bilateral trade relations and the appointment of a representative in the Joint Economic Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
