Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader, asked how do you evaluate the personality of late Ayatollah Shahroudi responded by saying: "Ayatollah Shahroudi was a learned and prominent jurisprudent, with a wide range of knowledge in the Islamic sciences which few could match. He had studied with top scholars of Iraq, and based on his wisdom he had good position among Iraqi people."
atollah Emami-Kashani added: "The late Ayatollah Hashemi Shahroudi supported the founder of The Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini, and the Islamic revolution of Iran, when he came back to Iran."
