Iran Press/America: Brigadier General Amir Hatami made the remarks on Thursday in a telephone conversation with Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López.
Elsewhere in the phone call initiated by Venezuelan defense minister, Iran's Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics reiterated that the US presence in every country of the world has been devastating, along with crime, murder, and looting of the wealth of the nation.
Hatami called Iran's missile strike on the most important and well-equipped US military base in Iraq a model for all freedom-loving people in the world to be strong in the face of the oppression of imperialism.
For his part, The Venezuelan defense minister praised Lt. General Qasem Soleimani as a worthy figure, adding that the US terrorist act has transformed millions of people worldwide into Commander Soleimani.
Emphasizing Venezuela's support for Iran in the fight against arrogance, Padrino Lópezsaid that the name of Lieutenant General Soleimani would be alive in history because of his efforts to fight terrorism.
He also condemned the US assassination of General Soleimani and expressed his sympathy with the Iranian people.
