Hundreds of protesters took part in anti-war demonstrations in the British city of Birmingham on Sunday.

Iran Press/Europe: According to Al-Jazeera television, the demonstrators condemned the interference of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in Yemen's internal affairs.

The demonstrators held placards denouncing the Western media's indifference to the Yemeni crisis.

They also carried the Yemeni flag, chanting "Stop supporting Saudi Arabia" and "Yemeni children are hungry."

Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, has launched a military offensive against Yemen since March 2015 and imposed a land, sea, and air blockade on the country.

The outbreak of war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed more than 16,000 Yemenis, injured tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis.
