Iran Press/Middle East :Some 31 civilians including children and the members of a Yemeni family have been killed in a Saudi-led coalition missile strike that targeted a vehicle and a house in the Yemeni province of Hudaida, a medical source says.
Youssef al-Hadiri, spokesman for Yemen health ministry said that air strikes hit the region of Alkoui area of the Directorate of Durahmi and targeted a vehicle which was carrying civilians trying to escape the area.Al Hadiri said among the killed were 22 children, 4 women and the driver.
The inhumane measure was condemned by the Yemeni political figures and circles. It is believed that the meaningful silence of the international community and the UN toward humanitarian disaster and Saudi led crimes in Yemen serves as the green light for continuation of killing of innocent Yemeni civilians including children.
According to Al Hadiri, the victims were trying to escape AlKoui area after a raid targeted a house in the area on Wednesday night killing four civilians and wounding two others.Local residents in the area confirmed that all the fatalities were civilians.
Alkoui area has been witnessing heavy fighting between the Saudi- led - coalition forces and Ansarullah .
The Saudi new crimes happened after Yemeni naval forces targeted Saudi territorial waters and Saudi military base in Jizan as well as military carriers were shot by Yemeni ballistic missile .
Meanwhile According to Human rights watch all the statistics and information provided by Saudi officials lack authenticity and due to US anti Yemeni position taking ,one could say that US also is considered as Saudis' collaborator .
Yemen army and popular committees could successfully take the control of some of the Saudi military bases in Jizan and could successfully cut off emergency line of the Saudi aggressors in some other areas.
Furthermore ,the mercenaries were killed by Yemeni forces in the Eastern part of Yemeni capital of Sana'a .
Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by Saudi regime led coalition for nearly over three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.
Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been launching deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
Nearly 14,000 Yemenis, including 5,000 women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
