Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has strongly condemned the unprecedented and brutal attacks carried out today by the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Israeli regime on the Yemeni provinces of Sanaa, Al-Hudaydah, and Amran.

Iran PressIran News:  In a statement, Baghaei denounced the aggressive strikes on Yemen’s infrastructure and civilian facilities, which coincided with massive demonstrations in Yemen in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and in condemnation of the genocide in Gaza. He described these attacks as clear evidence of U.S. and UK complicity in the crimes committed against Palestinians.

He described these acts as the height of lawlessness and a blatant violation of fundamental principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also criticized the inaction of international organizations in addressing the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli regime, as well as the escalation of war by this regime and its supporters. He emphasized the moral and legal responsibility of all governments and international and Islamic institutions to stop the ongoing genocide and gross violations of international humanitarian law in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Furthermore, he reminded the UN Security Council of its obligation to prevent acts of aggression against Yemen and stated that the intensification of military aggression by the U.S., UK, and the occupying Israeli regime in Yemen cannot distract public attention from the gravity and extent of the atrocities being committed in Gaza.
