The Israeli military have shot and wounded a field correspondent working for the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in the occupied West Bank.

Iran Press/ Middle East: according to Press TV, a field correspondent working for the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) has been wounded by rubber bullets fired by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank.

The IRIB correspondent was shot in his leg and sustained a minor injury.

Meanwhile, during a protest rally in the city of Ramallah 12 Palestinians including a journalist were wounded.

Thousands of Gazans took to the streets to mark another week of 'Great March of Return' in Gaza strip on Friday.

A new round of clashes broke out  on Friday afternoon between Palestinian protesters and Israeli soldiers in eastern Gaza City, close to the borders of the  occupied territory.

United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that some 1,400 Palestinians shot by Israeli forces during “Great March of Return” protests in the occupied Gaza Strip face the possibility of long-term disability.

On 13 July, Israeli forces shot and martyred a 15-year-old Palestinian teenager, who was protesting during a demonstration in Gaza strip.

Thousands of Palestinians have been staging demonstrations on Gaza Strip’s eastern border with Israel against the decades-long Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands recently.

The peaceful marches and demonstrations are in support of the long-ignored right of Palestinian refugees who want to return to their ancestral homeland.
