The second batch of terrorists who reject the settlement were evacuated from Quneitra countryside along with their families in a step towards announcing the province free of terrorism.
SANA’s reporter from Jaba corridor said that 48 buses headed for northern Syria on Saturday evening with hundreds of terrorists on board along with their families in implementation of the agreement which stipulates for ending the existence of terrorists in the villages and towns in Quneitra countryside.
The agreement which was reached on Friday stipulates for the return of the Syrian Arab Army to pre 2011 positions and the exit of terrorists who reject the settlement to Idleb, in addition to settling the status of those who are willing to stay.
The buses are subjected to thorough inspection where explosive belts were found in addition to Israeli-made weapons which the terrorists tried to smuggle on board the buses.
The reporter noted that the legal status of militants who are willing to stay will be settled after evacuating all terrorists who reject the settlement and later al-Quneitra province will be declared as free of terrorism.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) had a successful day in the Al-Quneitra Governorate on Friday, as their forces managed to retake a large portion of territory that was under rebel control near the occupied Golan Heights.
According to a military source in southern Syria, the Syrian Arab Army entered and took control of more than ten towns on Friday, including the jihadist stronghold of Nabe’ Al-Sakhar.
In addition to Nabe’ Al-Sakhar, the Syrian Army also established control over the towns of Umm Batna, Mumtanah, ‘Ayn Tinah, Hajjeh, Suaysah, and Qusaybah in the Al-Quneitra Governorate.
As a result of this big advance, the Syrian Arab Army reportedly took control of more than 170 square kilometers of territory along the Daraa-Quneitra axis.
At the same time, the Syrian government also provided at least 48 buses to transport the remaining jihadist rebels and their family members from Al-Quneitra to the northern provinces of Syria.
The Syrian Army will likely enter the remaining towns in the Al-Quneitra Governorate that are controlled by the jihadist rebels in the next 48 hours, a military source told Al-Masdar News this morning.
Once they enter these towns in Al-Quneitra, the Syrian Army will establish control over them and then shift their attention to the Yarmouk Basin region, where they plan on attacking this ISIS pocket.
