Navy defends Iran interests by domestic equipment: Navy Commander
Commander of Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said that Navy with domestic equipment defend the national interests of our country at sea.
Iran Press/Iran news: Commander of Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, made the remarks on the sidelines of Iranian Navy's exhibition on the latest naval technological achievements and developments on Saturday in Tehran.
"Iran's navy has extended its reach in recent years, launching a number of domestic equipment to defend the territorial integrity of Iran's waters and the national interests of our country at sea," Commander of Iranian Navy said according to Iran Press.
"Iranian Navy's exhibition is indicator of the maturity, capability and self-sufficiency of the Iranian Navy," Admiral Hossein Khanzadi noted.
"These capabilities indicate that the Revolutionary generation does not have any fear of the threat posed by the enemies," Commander of Iranian Navy Rear added.
On 26 November, Iran's Navy commander, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said that maritime zones of the country have full security.
Iran has developed a large domestic arms industry in the face of international sanctions and embargoes that have barred it from importing many weapons.
Iranian Navy’s Tehran Headquarters is hosting an exhibition on the latest naval technological achievements and developments
The exhibition kicked off on Saturday in a ceremony attended by Commander of Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi and Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari.
Electronic warfare systems, radio systems, wireless equipment, and defense systems applied in drones and naval destroyers are showcased during the event.
The event will go until end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2019).
