Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Abbas Araghchi, wrote in a tweet on Sunday that, two important events are set to take place tomorrow that will greatly influence the level of Iran-EU relations in the face of US’ sanctions and pressure.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, noted that the one of the events is the third round of Iran-EU high-level seminar on 'International Nuclear Cooperation’ to be chaired by head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi on the Iranian side, Iran Press reported
Abbas Araghchi noted that the second event is the fourth round of Iran-EU high-level political talks to be chaired by Abbas Araghchi and Secretary General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) Helga Schmid.
Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi left Tehran for Brussels on Sunday to attend a high-level seminar on peaceful international nuclear cooperation with the European Union.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Salehi is set to attend the 3rd EU-Iran Seminar on International Nuclear Cooperation, which will be held on Nov. 26-27.
The seminar marks the first joint event between Iran and Europe on nuclear cooperation after the re-imposition of US’ unilateral sanctions on Iran in the wake of Washington’s withdrawal from the landmark nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Prominent figures, including Secretary General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) Helga Schmid and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, will attend the high-profile seminar.
The seminar was the result of a joint initiative of the European Commissioner for Energy and Climate Action Miguel Arias Cañete and Iranian Vice?President Ali Akbar Salehi.
The EU and Iran held a high-level seminar on 'International Nuclear Cooperation: Expectations and Responsibilities' in Brussels on 28 February and 1 March 2017.
On Nov. 22, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Italian counterpart Enzo Moavero Milanesi talked about JCPOA and Europe's Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

On Nov. 21, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said the European Union has shown that it does not want Iran to withdraw from the nuclear agreement (JCPOA) and that it is necessary to preserve this agreement.
Iran expects European states, the EU in particular, to fulfil their obligations in the wake of the US exit from the multilateral international accord which is part of the UN Security Council resolution 2231.
