Iran press/Europe: "We are looking forward to see how Europe will defend its sovereignty and credit against Washington’s bully demands and illegal pressures, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araqchi posed in a press conference in Madrid on Friday.
After implementation of Iran nuclear deal, the relations between Tehran and Madrid entered into a new phase and over 3,000 Spanish firms established long-term cooperation with Iran, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister said according to IRNA.

Araqchi called the US sanctions against Iran as illegal action and blatant violation of the UNSC resolutions and also International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs said: "all international community, except two countries, slammed the US President Donald Trump decision to withdraw from the Joint comprehensive plan of action(JCPOA).
Araqchi by criticizing some European firms for following the US imposed sanction said: "the US use dollar as a means to fulfil its ambition and unfortunately it seems that some European companies followed the the US orders more than their local governments."

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs by reminding that Iran's nuclear deal achieved after "years of negotiations," said: "International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) latest report that verified Iran's commitments to the JCPOA for the 13th time, confirmed that the deal is an EU foreign policy achievement.
Abbas Araqchi insisted that the US withdrawal from a UNSC resolution which is the result of international negotiation will make other countries distrustful to negotiations, diplomacy and the UNSC mechanisms.
JCPOA is a security agreement in non-proliferation field and killing it will result in a new crisis in the Middle East, Araqchi noted.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs said: "we hope that Europe will be able to manage this situation."
Despite the US President Donald Trump's hostile policy towards the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said on October 6, that the EU should remain strong on its' commitment to the historic Iran nuclear deal.
