Iran news/ Iran press: In an exclusive interview with Iran press correspondent on Monday, while emphasizing sharing experiences, good practicing as well as sharing ideas in maritime industry between Iran and Europe, European Commission's head of Maritime Transport and Logistics Unit, Sandro Santamato described the challenges of maritime industry similar between the two sides .
Categorizing the upcoming probable challenges faced by Iran and Europe, to be about "challenges of ensuring effective and efficient operation of the maritime sector as well as ensuring environmentally sustainable maritime transport", Santamato went on to emphasize that" Iran and European countries can learn from confronting practices which they have."

Asked about the Europe's political position on bilateral ties between Iran and Europe after US imposed sanctions on Iran, the Maritime transport officials stressed that" Europe stands by the Joint Comprehensive plan of Action that was agreed which we believe is the mutual interest, so I think this is let say the way we intend to stand by the decisions taken."
