Iran PressIran news: The top commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said that economic sanctions have not hindered the Iranian nation from continuing the great Jihad, saying that the country has become a slaughterhouse of economic sanctions.

In a meeting with the IRGC's staff of the ranks deployed in Bushehr Province, Major General Hossein Salami called the countries' political engagement with Islamic Republic a mark of honor for the whole world, adding: "The US sees its lost credibility only by negotiating with the Iranian authorities and a few minute talk with an Iranian official is US president's wish. Of course, no one negotiates, and everyone knows that negotiation is the enemy's goal, and no one is helping the enemy to reach the goal, as long as the enemy is not helping us solve our problems."

He added: "Where are the 12 conditions of the US Secretary of State for negotiations with Iran? The whole buried in history," Iran Press reported.

The top commander considered Iran as the source of power and emphasized: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is a source of power not only in hardware but also in the will to stand, saying: "Existence of power in Iran is alive and It gives people the strength to stand. This is the principle of power."

He said: "The enemy has been locked in politics by Iran. This is power, and cannons and tanks and missiles are the products of power."

Major General Salami considered the root of power within the hearts, wills and intentions, and said: "The root of power lies within the wisdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, that creates resilience, patience, stability, and tolerance capacity," adding that the nation presents the most honourable images in the most difficult times in history.

Commander Salami emphasized that the Iranian nation stands to the end, stressing that the end will be the Iranian nation’s victory.
