Iran Press/Iran news: Some of the developed defensive weapons have been delivered to the armed forces, all of them in operation, Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi said, visiting a defense industries exhibition.
General Mousavi remarked Iran's eye-catching progress in manufacturing state-of-art defense systems, noting that Iranian experts have precisely monitored all aerial threats before they designed and built Bavar 373 air defense missile system which he described as "a powerful strategic weapon".
Bavar-373 is a mobile missile defense system designed to intercept and destroy incoming hostile targets flying at altitudes of up to 65 kilometers. The system employs missiles that have a maximum range of 300 kilometers, Iran Press reported.
