A member of Iran's Majlis Economic Commission says the US government is encroaching upon the legal rights of Iranian people by its anti-Iran measures.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Member of Iran's Majlis Economic Commission, Mohammad Reza Pour Ebrahimi said that breach of law about a country means harming the national interest of that country.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Pour Ebrahimi said: "Terrorism is not just limited to the military sphere, and right now, the economic terrorism is taking place against Iran.

"The US and the Europeans by not fulfilling their obligations vis-a-vis the Iran nuclear deal despite their apparent commitment to it, destroyed the legal right of Iranian people in relation to economic issues," Iranian MP added.

"Breaching the JCPOA by the US and the Europeans means encroaching upon the economic rights of the Iranian people," he said.

Pour Ebrahimi said: "They have put us under pressure by depriving us of medicine, medical equipment and raw materials for factories and plants without any justification or reason."

The Iranian MP reiterated: "Although some countries have joined the US to put Iran under pressure, there have been other countries that have been opposed to the US' anti-Iranian measures and the US sanctions against Iran are just arbitrary actions."
