Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan alongside, UNHCR agreed to create conditions for better Afghan refugees' life condition.

Iran pressAsia: Islamic Republic of Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) committed to taking forward the three strategic pillars of voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees, sustainable reintegration in the home country and support for host countries.

The agreement was reached at an informal session of informal Quadripartite (Q4) meeting held at Geneva on the sidelines of the 70th session of the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner’s Programme, AP reported on Friday.

On Oct 9, Iran's Interior Minister called on the international community to help facilitate the voluntary repatriation of refugees and meet their needs in various sectors, including education, health, and employment.

Rahmani Fazli made the remarks in a meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi on the sidelines of the 70th session of the Executive Committee (ExCom) of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva late on Tuesday.
