IP - From the early moments of Saturday morning, the Israeli military resumed airstrikes at different parts of Lebanon including the southern suburb of Dahiyeh in Beirut.

Iran Press/West Asia: Israel resumed a new series of airstrikes from Friday in Beirut, Sidon, and Tripoli.

Israeli drones are now flying over Beirut and its southern suburbs at the moment at low altitudes, eyewitnesses reported.

Bourj el-Barajneh in the southern suburbs of Beirut, was targeted in the Israeli airstrike.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted some villages across the main border crossing between Lebanon and Syria.

On Friday, an Israel airstrike hit Lebanon’s Masnaa border crossing with Syria, cutting off the main road connecting Beirut to Damascus.

The director of Al-Abrar School, in the town of al-Rafid in the Bekaa governorate was killed after Israeli aircraft targeted his home at dawn, Lebanon National News Agency reported.

The main road connecting the towns of Shuhour and Saraifa was targeted in the air raid and blocked.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry says more than 2,000 people have been killed so far in Israel’s attacks across the country, including 127 children and 261 women.
